BLUE MAN GROUP

Opening Tuesday: When a trio of bald men, all painted blue, started doing tricks with paint and balls in the mid-'80s, few could have imagined that their entertaining act would become a global juggernaut. But the Blue Man Group has performed everywhere from Asia to Africa, Europe to North America. The blue paint allows the performers to be positioned as faceless everymen. Their family-friendly show, a hard-to-define entertainment extravaganza of ball tricks, paint splatter and multimedia elements, is performed to a percussive soundtrack provided by a live band. (7:30 p.m. Tue.-Fri., 2 & 7:30 p.m. Sat.-next Sun., Ordway Center, 345 Washington St., St. Paul, $36-$135, 651-224-4222 or www.ordway.org.)
