What does it take to win a million dollars?

At the 46th Pillsbury Bake-Off, held Monday in Las Vegas, the answer is sour cream, bacon, frozen roasted potatoes and refrigerated dough, wrapped into appetizers.

Winner Glori Spriggs of Henderson, Nev., beat out 99 other challengers, including four Minnesotans: Beverly Batty of Forest Lake, Sonya Goergen of Moorhead, Vicki Mager of Bloomington and Cathy Wiechert of Mound (find their recipes at Startribune.com/tabletalk).

Recipes could have no more than seven ingredients and require no more than 30 minutes preparation time. An online poll narrowed the semifinalist field.

According to Pillsbury, this year's finalists (97 women and three men) created recipes that required a collective 192 eggs, 54 pounds of frozen vegetables and 95 pounds of (Pillsbury, what else?) flour.

The awards ceremony was presided over by Padma Lakshmi, host of Bravo's "Top Chef." The 2014 Bake-Off will take place in Nashville.
