An MRI performed on Lynx player Seimone Augustus's injured left ankle Monday confirmed Sunday's diagnosis of a sprain, said Lynx coach Cheryl Reeve. The team does not yet know when Augustus will return, though she will almost certainly miss Tuesday's game against 10-1 Atlanta at Target Center.

"It's good news, that it's nothing more than a sprain," Reeve said. "Time-wise, it's an indefinite situation. We'll have to see how it goes. It's one of those things.''

The injury – which occurred in the second quarter of Sunday's victory over Phoenix – comes at a busy time in Minnesota's schedule. The Lynx host Atlanta Tuesday, then play at Indiana Thursday and at Tulsa Saturday. It is the first significant injury sustained by the Lynx (8-3) so far this season.

"Could have picked a better week to have it happen," Reeve said. "But, frankly, there won't be too many people feeling sorry for us.''

Monica Wright will move into the starting lineup replacing Augustus, which in turn changes Reeve's rotation off the bench. Rookie Sugar Rodgers figures to get more playing time off the bench at guard.
