A motorcyclist was killed trying to pass a minivan on Hwy. 169 at high speed, according to the State Patrol.
Andrew Roeglin, 22, was driving a Honda Racer southbound on Hwy. 169 and Rockford Road about 5:30 p.m. on Sunday night. While passing the Dodge Caravan, Roeglin clipped the rear driver's side and was ejected from the motorcycle.
Alcohol didn't appear to be a factor in the collision, the State Patrol said.
The minivan was driven by Bounhom Sukhaseum, 55, of Brooklyn Park. His condition is unknown.
The State Patrol is investigating the crash.
