Preview: The Pacers are 5-4 and have won two consecutive games and five of their past six after winning at Boston 102-91 on Wednesday. They beat Orlando 97-84 at home before that and are 3-2 at home and 2-2 on the road so far. … They're now over .500 for the first time since they started last season 1-0. … The teams split the season series a year, with the Pacers winning 100-96 at Target Center just before Christmas and the Wolves winning 110-101 in Indianapolis three weeks later when Mo Williams scored 52 points all by himself. … The Wolves are 4-0 on the road this season but winless at home.

Players to watch: Back healthy for his first full season since breaking a leg in Team USA play two summers ago, Pacers forward Paul George leads his team with 23.8 points, 8.8 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 1.6 steals per game. … Former Timberwolves forwards Chase Budinger and Glenn Robinson III come off the Pacers' bench. Traded to Indiana in July for Damjan Rudez, Budinger scored in double figures for the first time this season with 10 points on 4-for-7 shooting Wednesday at Boston.

Injuries: Wolves G Ricky Rubio (mild left hamstring strain) did not play Thursday and is questionable. C Nikola Pekovic (April Achilles' surgery) is out. Pacers G Rodney Stuckey (sprained knee) is questionable and rookie C Myles Turner (left thumb) is out.
