Boyd Huppert may have to buy a new house just to keep all his awards. KARE's ace reporter picked up a dozen regional
Emmys at Saturday night's Upper Midwest Emmys ceremonies, adding to his large collection of hardware that also includes eight national Edward R. Murrow Awards.
His wins helped KARE lead the way with the most victories, although WCCO took home best daytime news show, best evening news broadcast (5 p.m.) and best anchor, Frank Vascellaro.
The Star Tribune took home four awards for its online work.
