Bob Dylan finally found the right combination of opening acts to sell a lot of tickets. In fact, his show on July 10 at Midway Stadium in St. Paul with Wilco, My Morning Jacket and Richard Thompson is sold out.
The last time Dylan sold out a concert in Minneapolis was Northrop Auditorium in 2008. But that was only 5,000 seats. He drew only 7,000 fans last November at half-full Xcel Energy Center, with Mark Knopfler opening.
While Midway Stadium is sold out, there are tickets available for the Dylan tour for July 9 at Bayfront Park in Duluth, where he was born. Tickets cost $68.
