2012: Although inconsistent at times, he lowered his ERA in each of his three months in Class A, finishing with a 2.31 ERA in seven starts at high Class A Potomac. Overall he was 10-6 with a 2.86 ERA in 25 starts.
Brings heat: He throws 95-96 miles per hour and is reputed to have touched 100 with his fastball. He struck out 139 in 129 innings in his two Class A stops last summer.
