A few more thoughts and questions about Bruno Mars' show on Sunday at the sold-out Xcel Energy Center:

* Why did we need a 58-minute intermission? Doesn't Bruno realize how many young girls (under 13) he attracts? Thirty minutes is sufficient.

* My concerns about lighting and staging were mentioned in my review. Did we really need loud explosions in the middle of two or three songs? Those detracted rather than added.

* Why doesn't Mars allow photographers from major newspaper to photograph him in concert? Bob Dylan doesn't allow it; but that has been his policy since the 1980s. Maybe he's earned his curmudgeon-ness. Beyonce, like Prince, has banned newspaper photographers, as well, because she's either vain or a control freak — or both. But Bruno? On his first arena tour? Moreover, the photos provided by his people didn't even come close to matching the outfit he wore in St. Paul. Sad.
