Perhaps it is traffic light issues leading to the delays on northbound Hiawatha Avenue from 40th Street to 26th Street.
Metro Transit says there are no issues with the light rail line that runs along Hiawatha, so maybe it's just heavy traffic.
Look for slow-moving traffic on westbound 94 from Riveside Avenue over to 394. Part of the reason is a crash on westbound 394 at Wirth Pkwy. which is causing traffic to back up to downtown Minneapolis.
