Treacherous conditions on roads exposed to blowing snow or covered with black ice continue bring crashes and spinouts. The latest trouble spot is on northbound Hwy. 169 just before Marystown Road in Shakopee. At least three cars have landed in the ditch, and there may be crashes in the area, too.

Another hassle spot is on the Minnesota River bridge on I-494 near the MSP Airport. A spinout blocking the center lane has westbound traffic bogged down back past I-35E. Eastbound suffers from 34th Avenue over to Pilot Knob Road.

Hwy. 55 at I-494 is still dealing with the traffic signals in flash mode. The delays kick in for eastbound motorists at Hwy. 101.

Southbound Hwy. 100 is coming to a grind in Robbinsdale due to a crash taking out two lanes at Duluth Street. Southbound 169 is not a great alternate as it too is packed.

Other crashes:

  • Westbound 94 at Dowling Avenue and ahead at 41st Avenue. ANd at Hwy. 169 in Brooklyn Park
  • Southbound 35W at 66th Street in Richfield
  • Eastbound Hwy. 10 at County Road 96 in Arden Hills
  • Northbound Hwy. 52 at Southview Blvd.
