Two young girls and their mother, considered missing by Duluth police and thought to be in the St. Paul area, have been found in Buffalo, N.Y., authorities said Friday.

Duluth police had appealed Thursday night to find Tameicia Morris, 20, who does not have custody of the girls but took them for a visit and had not returned.

Jameicia Chapman, 2, and Shaniya Chism, 7 months old, had been considering missing and were listed in the National Crime Information Center database. They are now in protective custody and will be returning to St. Louis County.
