Theft. License plates were stolen from a vehicle on the 100 block of 170th Avenue NW.

Theft. Change and phone chargers were stolen from unlocked vehicles on the 2800 block of 135th Lane NW.

NOV. 9

Suspicious person. Officers responded to the back yard of a home on the 1400 block of 148th Lane NW. regarding a suspicious person. A person was trying to cut the lock off a shed and was wearing a flashlight on his forehead. Officers approached him with guns drawn and discovered it was the homeowner's son trying to get the snowblower out of the shed.

Assist public. Officers responded to a home on Firwood Way NE. regarding a dispute between roommates about poisoning their dog. The dog appeared fine and the woman was upset because she suspected her roommate of giving the dog chocolate.

Vandalism. Someone put glue on a vehicle in the 1500 block of Constance Boulevard NE.

Theft. Gas was siphoned from a vehicle on the 16400 block of Taconite Street NE.

Theft. A snowblower was stolen from an open garage on the 3000 block of 164th Avenue NE.

Theft. A wolf carving was stolen from the 21000 block of Viking Boulevard NE.

Theft. A bicycle was stolen from the Mounds View Community Center, 5394 Edgewood Dr.

Burglary. A toolbox was stolen from a garage on the 7600 block of Woodlawn Drive.

NOV. 9

Weapon. Officers responded to the 2600 block of Scotland Court regarding gun shots. A vehicle had been shot five times with a shotgun.

Theft. Roofing tools were stolen from an unlocked truck on the 7900 block of Greenwood Drive.

Drunken driving. A 74-year-old Blaine woman was arrested on County Road H2 and Knollwood Drive for drunken driving and cited for violations stemming from an alleged hit-and-run accident that occurred in Fridley.

Property damage. Someone attempted to break in to a home on the 19100 block of Blackfoot Street NW. There was damage to a screen door, alarm system and locks.

Theft. Car batteries were stolen from property on the 1500 block of 229th Avenue NW.

NOV. 13

Theft. Someone stole 13 electric motors from the 1000 block of 229th Avenue NW.

Weapon. A 26-year-old man was cited for possession of a dangerous weapon, possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding after he was stopped on Silver Lake Road and County Road E.
