Assist public. A man reported that he had a pizza delivered to his home and thought someone had sprayed the outside of the box and pop with perfume. He was advised to call the pizza shop.

JAN. 28

Animal complaint. A woman called police to report there was a bat in the basement of her home on the 5600 block of 4th Street NE. An officer was unable to locate the bat and gave her options on how to remove it.

LEXINGTON

JAN. 26

Theft. Two loads of women’s clothes were stolen after they were left unattended for over 24 hours in the community laundry room on the 3900 block of Restwood Road.

MINNEAPOLIS

JAN. 23

Animal complaint. Officers executed a search warrant at a home on the 1400 block of Fremont Avenue N. An adult male was arrested on suspicion of animal fighting. Officers seized five dogs, dogfighting equipment and two handguns.

Assault. A woman was taken to the hospital with noncritical injuries after she was stabbed by another woman during an ­argument on the 2900 block of Upton ­Avenue N.

Obstruction with force. A 34-year-old Mounds View woman was arrested for obstructing the legal process with force on Sherwood Road.

Burglary. A computer and jewelry were stolen from a home on Bronson Drive.

Theft. Tools were stolen from a vehicle on the 8100 block of Long Lake Road.
