A school bus struck and seriously injured a man walking along a frontage road in St. Cloud on Thursday morning, authorities said.
Andrew J. Boedigheimer, 20, of St. Cloud, was hit shortly after 7 a.m. in the 600 block of Roosevelt Road, west of Cooper Avenue, according to police.
There were no students on the bus, which serves the St. Cloud School District, and the driver was uninjured, police added.
Boedigheimer was taken to by ambulance to St. Cloud Hospital for treatment of what police characterized as "substantial injuries."
