Unruly individual. Police were dispatched to Point Douglas Park, 14500 Point Douglas Drive, on a report of a rowdy individual using foul language. The man refused to leave when asked by a park attendant. He was gone by the time police arrived.

Theft. Two metal garage sale signs were reported stolen from the side of the road on 170th Street near Hwy. 61. The owner of the signs told police several other signs were also missing from the spot. Police told the complainant to check with the city or county public works departments to see if they removed the signs.

Neighbor complaint. Police received a call from someone in the 300 block of Dellwood Square complaining about a neighbor constantly screaming and swearing at her own kids. Police advised the woman her behavior was disturbing neighbors. She admitted to having a swearing problem.
MAHTOMEDI
JUNE 11
Suspicious activity. A man was seen in the vicinity of the air-conditioning unit behind the Coventry Senior Living building at 720 Mahtomedi Av. When the man saw a staff member, he jumped over a fence and ran away with another man who was waiting for him. Police believe they were looking to take the copper tubing from the air-conditioning unit.

Suspicious activity. Someone reported a suspicious man lying on a hill near the parking lot at Wildwood Park, 345 Lincolntown Av. Police located the man, who told them he was waiting for his sister to pick him up.

Loose animal. Police contacted the owner of a baby bull that was outside the fence of a property in the 15000 block of Manning Trail.
OAKDALE
JUNE 11
Careless driving complaint. Police were dispatched to Dukes Pizza, Pub and Grill at 1285 Geneva Av. on a report of a customer who becomes irate on bingo night when she loses and others win, then drives through the parking lot at a high rate of speed. The woman was contacted and admitted to driving too fast once. She was warned a future incident could result in charges.

Theft. Someone took all four tires and rims off a company pickup truck in the parking lot of Allied Electric, 533 Hayward Av. The truck was left sitting on landscaping blocks.
Animal complaint. A snapping turtle was contained in the 4300 block of Hadley Circle. An officer released the turtle at the shoreline of a nearby pond.
Accident. The juvenile driver of a vehicle partially submerged in water in a ditch in the area of Hwy. 5 and Imation Place told police she was racing another vehicle when she lost control and ran into the ditch. She was given a citation for reckless driving.

JUNE 12
Gunshots. About 20 gunshots were reportedly heard in the area of Oldridge Avenue and 10th Street. Police located a man in the vicinity who was trap shooting. No illegal activity was found.
WOODBURY
JUNE 14
Dog attack. A man walking his dog reported it was attacked by another dog in the area of Emerald Lane and Donegal Drive. Because there were no injuries or bites involved, the owner of the attacking dog was given a verbal warning about allowing his dog to roam at large.
