Reports have it that the fast food worker protest in Minneapolis' Uptown area is winding down and that traffic is now being able to pass.
Police and protesters had blocked the intersection of Lagoon Avenue and Hennepin Avenue for a short time. Still, traffic is heavy in the area.
On the mainline, a we are dealing with a couple of crashes. One is on the right shoulder of westbound 694 just before the I-35E junction. That is on the western split where 35E peels off and heads south.
The other wreck is on northbound 494 ramp to Crosstown Hwy. 62.
