Good morning, commuters!

The roads are in good shape at the moment, but that is likely to change as a round of snow is just starting to push into the metro area. Flakes are flying in the south and southwest metro and will spread across the metro area just as the rush hour cranks up.

Today might see fewer commuters as many folks take the day off to get a head start on the Thanksgiving holiday. But highways will start to fill up with travelers heading out of town. Currently traffic is moving just fine with lots of room to roll.

Transit will be operating on a regular schedule today, but look for reduced service on Thursday and Friday.

I'll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
