Commuters in Plymouth who use Schmidt Lake Road in Plymouth at I-494 will need to find an alternate route for the next 21 days.
MnDOT is widening the bridge as part of a long-term project to add a third lane to I-494 and has closed Schmidt Lake from Northwest Boulevard and Cheshire Parkway.
During the closure, the suggested detour is to use Vicksburg Lane or Northwest Boulevard to County Road 47.
