It almost feels as if we are having a winter re-run with flooding and wet roads slowing the drive. We've also had several spinouts and crashes.
Here are a few of the current trouble spots:
Eastbound 494 at Hardman Avenue in Newport/South St. Paul
Northbound 169 at Hwy. 7 in Minnetonka
Hwy. 5/W. 7th Street near Hwy. 51 in St. Paul
Flooding on Hwy. 280 near Broadway Street. Water has receded on Cedar Avenue near the Mall of America.
Lost in all the weather-related delays is the fact that southbound 35E is operating with one less lane this morning. Construction is taking out the right lane until October.
So far it appears as if transit is operating without issue.
