Roads are still lightly traveled at this hour, but we know that won't last. Early morning commuters will find patchy fog throughout the metro, so keep the speeds down.
Today, commuters in the south metro can enjoy the drive on I-35 through Lakeville. By tomorrow at 5 a.m., the freeway will be reduced to a single lane in both directions from County Road 50 to County Road 2.
New this morning, the ramp from Shady Oak Road to westbound Crosstown is closed for a ramp widening project until Sept. 17.
