Keeping tabs on Wednesday's morning commute

Posted by: Tim Harlow Updated: July 24, 2013 - 5:18 AM

 Good morning, commuters!

Motorists who use I-35E will notice that traffic has been switched from the northbound lanes to the southbound lanes between Cedar Avenue and Diffley Road. This means drivers will have a single lane in each direction from Diffley down to County Road 42.

In addition, the exit from northbound 35E to Cedar Avenue is closed.

Overnight road work has lifted on northbound Hwy. 169 from County Road 18 up to the Bloomington Ferry bridge.

In Bloomington, eastbound 494 still has a lane blocked at France Avenue, but that should be out of there shortly.

I will be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
