7:45 a.m. update: Bunched up on 494 in southeast metro

Westbound 494 traffic comes to crawl from Bailey Road over to Concord Street in the Newport/South St. Paul area. Ahead, look for a 15-minute push from Cedar Avenue to Hwy. 100.

Eastbound 494 is creeping along from Hwy. 212 over to 35W. That, too, is a 15 to 18 minute drive.

A crash on the right shoulder of southbound 35E at County H2 has traffic stopped from County J past the scene. Ahead, things get heavy from Hwy. 36 down to 94.

The Crosstown is thick again today with 20 minutes needed in both directions from 28th Avenue over to Hwy. 169.

On westbound Hwy. 36, things jam up between Dale Street and 35W. Plan on 15 minutes from Hwy. 61 to 35W.

Northbound 35W slows approaching Burnsville Pkwy, but things loosen past 98th Street. Ahead, it is 12 minutes from Crosstown to the downtown exits.

Eastbound 394 is looking good, with just minor congestion from Hwy. 169 over to Wirth Pkwy.
