9 a.m. update: Looking better on 35E and the Crosstown

Posted by: Tim Harlow Updated: May 7, 2013 - 8:59 AM

The Crosstown has been a tangled mess most of the morning for both eastbound and westbound drivers. As we end the rush hour, things are starting to loosen.

Westbound is moving decent from 34th Avenue over to Penn Avenue.  Eastbound still has pockets of congestion from Tracy Avenue over to Portland Avenue.  We still have a crash working at Gleason Road. Plan on 15 to 20 minutes through there.

Northbound 35W is tight from 46th Street to Lake Street. It's 15 minutes from the Crosstown.

Northbound 169 also is improving with travel times down to 10 to 12 minutes from Hwy. 101 up to 494.
