6:50 a.m. update: Semi removed from 94 in downtown Minneapolis

Posted by: Tim Harlow Updated: March 6, 2013 - 6:50 AM

The semitrailer truck that had been blocking the right lane on westbound 94 at 1st Avenue has been towed away. Traffic on 94 and the ramp from northbound 35W to westbound 94 is back to normal.

Look for snow removal crews working their way west on 494. Last seen at Hwy. 61 in Newport.

A traffic stop has cleared on southbound 35W at Lexington Avenue. Ahead, things are congested from County Road I down to Hwy. 280. That is 14 minutes.

Northbound 35W and Cedar Avenue are starting to fill in through Bloomington and Eagan. It's heavy but things are moving.

On westbound Hwy. 36, plan on 12 minutes from Hwy. 61 to 35W.

Things are moving fine on eastbound Hwy. 212 from Wallace Road to 494 and on northbound 169 from Canterbury Road to 494.

No problems on southbound 494 from the Fish Lake Interchange down to 394. That is about 12 minutes.
