For drivers who have had to navigate the single lane road construction on 694 between Hwy. 61 and 40th Street through Maplewood and Oakdale over the past several months, the end is in sight.
All ramps that have been closed in that stretch have reopened. The eastbound and southbound lanes are open to two lanes of traffic.
Westbound lanes from Hwy. 36 to Hwy. 61 have reopened to two lanes of traffic.
Northbound traffic is still restricted to a single lane from Hwy. 5 to about 40th Street, but that should be back to full strength.
