A New Brighton woman wrote to say she was less than pleased with the high-tech parking meters installed in downtown Minneapolis. "All directions were followed but we couldn't get a receipt (meter did not reject or approve my card). "Instead of using my credit card a second time and getting charged twice we left and did what we had to do and when we got back we had a ticket on our car." She said she talked with others who were trying to use the meters and encountered similar problems. "These meters do not give enough info on using them and nobody around to help." Report Steve Brandt wrote about the new meters last month. Read his story here. What has your experience been with the new meters?
