Video: Moving a Gehry house 110 miles

Posted by: Jenna Ross Updated: October 11, 2011 - 10:41 AM

Piece by piece, Frank Gehry's 1987 guesthouse was moved from a hilltop overlooking Lake Minnetonka, a Sunday story notes, to a pretty patch of land in Owatonna.

That land is owned by the University of St. Thomas, which created this video documenting the process. The action starts at 6:20.

"It was built in pieces, we oughta be able to move it in pieces."
