The Minnesota State Patrol is looking for the motorist who struck and killed a pedestrian Friday morning on Interstate 694 in Vadnais Heights.
Aelicia Taylor, 38, of St. Paul, was struck in the eastbound lanes of the freeway near Edgerton Street about 2:40 a.m. She was hit by a passing smaller red vehicle that fled the scene. said Sgt. Jesse Grabow of the State Patrol.
A reconstruction team shut down the eastbound lanes from the Interstate 694/35E split for about four hours while they worked to determine how the crash happened.
