A 24-year-old man from Bena, Minn., was killed Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Cass County, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Seth Michael Raines was driving a 2004 Suzuki Grand Vitara south on Hwy. 371 in Walker when it crossed the center line, striking head-on a 2003 Chevy Silverado driven by Ricklin E. Schmidtke, 62, of Walker. Raines died at the scene.
Schmidtke suffered noncritical injuries in the crash. Both drivers were wearing seat belts, and alcohol was not a factor, the patrol said.
