Police were called to the Annandale home of Kyle Greene on Poplar Avenue North at 8 a.m. Police Chief Jeff Herr said Sunday that the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office ruled the death of homicide, but he wouldn’t elaborate on a cause of death or say who called police.

Records show the house is owned by a 66-year-old relative of Greene’s who appeared to live there with him.

The case remains under investigation by Annandale police, the Wright County Sheriff’s Office and the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office.

Anyone with information about the death is asked to call the Annandale Police Department at (320) 274-3278 or the Wright County Sheriff at (763) 682-1162.

Cloquet man dies in ATV accident

A 37-year-old Cloquet, Minn., man has died in an ATV accident. The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office says it happened around 3:30 p.m. Saturday when a large group of four-wheelers were traveling between Aurora and Hoyt Lakes on the Ranger Off Road Recreational Trail.

The news release says Ryan Ewald was driving the lead ATV with his wife, 30-year-old Amy Ewald, as the passenger. He was attempting to climb a steep, slippery hill when they both fell off. The four-wheeler then rolled and struck him in the head. He died at Northern Pines Hospital in Aurora. His wife was not injured.

The accident remains under investigation.
