A central Wisconsin woman with the early effects of dementia who had been missing since Friday was found safe Saturday night, law enforcement said.

Lena Kriesant, 77, left her home in Bradley Friday morning to go to the store and didn’t return. Marathon County officers found her at a truck stop in Marathon after they first located her 2002 Chevy Venture van not far away.

Marathon is about 60 miles south of Bradley.

She was in good health but confused, an officer with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office said. She was being reunited with family.

Early Saturday morning, her credit card had been used in Solon Springs in Douglas County.
