A food booth caught fire Friday morning at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival in Shakopee, slightly delaying the fair's opening for the day.
The Scott County Sheriff's Office said the blaze was reported shortly after 6:15 a.m. and burned for at least another 90 minutes. The source appeared to be a food booth called Rogue's Chicken, the Sheriff's Office said. No injuries were reported.
The blaze, whose cause is unknown, "did affect some of the neighboring booths," said festival marketing official Erica Christo.
The festival opened Aug. 20 and wraps up Sunday.
