Minnesota author Sue Leaf will present a “character sketch” of Roberts, sponsored by the Twin Cities Bungalow Club.

Workshop participants will learn some of the 19th-century history of the Saito Ippo Japanese screen “Flowers of the Seasons” and how to create an arrangement inspired by that work of art, using blooming branches, hydrangea and other materials. The workshop will be led by award-winning Bachman’s floral designer Diane Enge.

Ticket price of $50 includes all materials needed for your floral creation. The workshop will be offered 6 to 8 p.m. April 23 in the Design Room at Bachman’s on Lyndale, 6010 Lyndale Av. S., Minneapolis. Register at
