Go sightseeing worldwide by drone

People worry about drones. The list of concerns is long: privacy, safety, war, etc.

The Washington Post has been tackling some of those issues. All very important.

But on the lighter side, drones make great Internet videos.

The website TravelByDrone.com lets you tour the world by aggregating impressive drone videos. Watch waves roll into Australian beaches, fly over the German countryside or drift over a busy boulevard in Bolivia.

A team evaluates each YouTube video submitted to the website, then plots the verified videos on an interactive Google Map. The rules? The video must be taken by a drone outdoors, no promotional material and no footage from military drones.

The collection is impressive, and Minnesota represents. The shot of the Duluth aerial lift bridge (above) is among the videos from the North Star State.
