Fifty-one-year-old Jamie Lee Curtis is saying bye-bye to Botox and raising quite a few eyebrows with her stand against cosmetic surgery.
"There are people who, when you see them on the screen, there’s an audible gasp of ‘Oh my God,'" Curtis, currently starring in the comedy "You Again" tells the October issue of AARP magazine. "They look terrible - or they’ve done something to themselves and now look like freaks."
Curtis speaks from experience.
In a 1992 More magazine interview, in which she posed makeup-free in her underwear, revealed that she had undergone every type of plastic surgery and that "none of it works. None of it."
Not forever, anyway. Sophia Vergara agrees:
She’s sworn off major surgical overhauls. “L.A. is crazy. The women all look the same now. That thing with the cheeks. Like Madonna. Who do they think they’re fooling? It doesn’t make them look young. You end up looking like a freak.”
This seems to be the operative word, no? FREAKS. I thought Madonna had arm implants, but what do I know.
