The war rages on. In the bid for social media supremacy, the big networks are always stealing features from each other. This latest attack seems to be the most brazen, though.

A few days ago, Instagram debuted its "Stories" feature, which is a direct copy of one of Snapchat's main functions — also called "Stories." I mean, c'mon. Why use the same name, too?

The new feature (which you'll see embedded at the top of the app) allows Instagram users to basically post Snapchat-style pics and videos — complete with filters, funny text and dumb drawing tools (the posts also disappear after a short time).

So far, there's no rainbow puke lens, though.

So, are the friends and celebs we follow doing anything innovative with Instagram's snappin' feature?

Nah. It's just the usual snaps. Taylor Swift is posting clips of her cat. Reese Witherspoon is giving her followers tours of her office. We need some controversy (looking at you Kim K!).
