In three stories about Operation Fast and Furious, the gunrunning investigation by the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the Star Tribune incorrectly reported the role of B. Todd Jones in 1996, when a similar investigation had to be shut down in the Minneapolis ATF office. Jones, currently the acting ATF director, was in private practice in 1996. The stories with the incorrect information ran on Page A1 on June 28, 2012, and Jan. 10, 2013, and on Page B1 on Jan. 17, 2013.
Sound designer Katharine Horowitz's name was omitted in a review of the play "Buzzer" on Page E10 today.
