Glad all over

You're probably familiar with "A Hard Day's Night" (7 p.m. TCM), but the British Invasion wasn't conducted by the Beatles alone. Stick around for a whole evening featuring the Animals and Peter Noone and Herman's Hermits. Most intriguing is the 1965 Dave Clark Five vehicle, "Having a Wild Weekend" (10:15 p.m.), which marks the feature debut of director John Boorman.

Castle in the sky

"The Queen of Versailles," one of the best documentaries of the past decade, chronicles the downfall of David and Jackie Siegel, a super-rich couple whose dream of building a 90,000-square-foot house is shattered by the economy falling apart. Don't be surprised to have your attitude toward these two veer sharply throughout the film. 7 p.m. CNBC

Support your local sheriff

"Longmire," a woefully underrated drama, returns for a third season as our hero, a Wyoming sheriff, struggles with the imprisonment of his best friend and the shooting of one of the officers. Aussie actor Robert Taylor is terrific in the title role. 9 p.m. A&E
