PILOBOLUS
Saturday: Pilobolus may be a 41-year-old company, but it is perpetually young at heart. The Connecticut-based dance troupe is named for a fungus, and it cultivates a similar organic quality through creation of whimsical, bizarre and beautiful shapes using the human body. These are strong and agile dancers with an uncanny knack for defying gravity. The program at the Ordway includes a 2013 work, plus audience favorites. (7:30 p.m. Sat., $20-$94, Ordway Center, 345 Washington St., St. Paul, 651-224-4222, www.ordway.org.)
