Classes for beer geeks
Class is back in session next week when the Better Beer Society University kicks off its fall semester. Some seats remain for the 12-week beer-geek course held at Republic Seven Corners (at least it's near an actual university). Headed by Rob Shellman and beer prof Michael Agnew, author of "A Perfect Pint's Guide to the Heartland," Suds U often pulls guest speakers from the local scene and takes field trips that put your high school zoo excursion to shame.

'Tsunami' hitmaker hits town
Still riding his massive collaboration with DVBBS, "Tsunami" co-hitmaker Borgeous storms Spades Nightclub in the Warehouse District on Friday. The big-room house producer rose to fame last year with the ubiquitous track and followed with a handful of singles this year, including this week's exuberant electro-house pounder "Breathe."
