P.O.S. finally has a concert date on the books for 2013, and it's a rather big one. The Minneapolis rapper is part of the lineup announced this morning for this year's Sasquatch festival near Seattle. There's one very big detail to be tied up before he takes the stage again, though: He still has to get his new kidney put in.

As of Monday, P.O.S. (Stef Alexander) said he has yet to get a firm date for his pending kidney transplant, which was originally penciled in for sometime in January. "I'm trying to not get mad about it, but I'm close," he said when asked about it last week.

His booking at Sasquatch could mean we won't see the Doomtree/Rhymesayers mainstay at Soundset, happening again May 26 in Shakopee. Sasquatch will also feature Macklemore & Lewis, who would've been a great name for Soundset to nab again this year, given they've become the first Soundset alum to land a No. 1 hit ("Thrift Shop," in its second week atop the Billboard Hot 100). Other names on the Sasquatch lineup include Mumford & Sons, Vampire Weekend, the reunited Postal Service, Sigur Ros and Primus.

*Twin Cities music fans are going to see a whole lot of the Ike Reilly Assassination again this spring. The locally beloved Libertyville, Ill., rockers have lined up six gigs in town over three months billed as "Ike Reilly's Saturday Night Special," starting with a March 2 show at 7th Street Entry. They'll alternate between the Entry and the Turf Club from there every few Saturdays through May 25, plus Ike is also throwing in one solo gig at the Icehouse on April 27. Details and tickets for all the shows are up on First Ave's site. With a new IRA album almost in the can, Reilly said these shows "will give The Twin Cities a chance to hear the new music first and hear it often and it will give The IRA a chance work out live arrangements of the new material." The band also booked a similar Sunday night residency closer to home at Schuba's in Chicago. As if anybody thinks these Saturday shows won't be more fun.

*After making a surprise appearance at First Ave last month to sing an Al Green tune the Twin Cities Funk & Soul All-Stars, "The Voice" finalist Nicholas David Mrozinski will return to the club March 9 -- preannounced this time -- to perform some Prince tunes for Bobby Z's second annual Benefit 2 Celebrate Life. The lineup includes other Prince fans and cohorts such as Andre Cymone, Alexander O'Neal, Stokley Williams, Questlove and Maya Rudolph's tribute band Princess.

*Rufus Wainwright has been booked for the third installment of "The Current Sessions," happening April 13 at the Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul. Tickets ($39-$49) go on sale to Minnesota Public Radio members today at 10 a.m. and the general public on Friday at noon via 651-290-1200 or the Fitz box office.

*Arguably the most popular event under the 89.3 Current banner after Rock the Garden, the kids-oriented Rock the Cradle party is happening later this year but it is indeed happening, the station confirms. March 24 looks to be the date. Stay tuned for an official announcement, and good luck keeping all those cooped-up children occupied in the meantime.
