Thunder and Storm made for a Rainy appearance at Como Zoo.

Rainy, a baby Dall sheep — the zoo's first — was born June 4 to her mother, Storm, and father, Thunder. The lamb weighed in at 8 pounds. Storm's gestation period was 175 days before having her snowy white firstborn girl.

Dall sheep are native to northwest North America and are notable for their curled horns. Until they're about 3 years old, rams and ewes tend to resemble each other. After that, males' continued horn growth makes them more distinguishable.

Rainy now can be viewed at the Como Zoo exhibit she shares with her parents.
