Details: The 46,000-square-foot Northwood Business Park Phase II in Eagan has landed a new anchor tenant: An indoor play center for families with young children.

Good Times Park Inc. this month received approval from the Eagan City Council for an amendment to the park's planned unit development allowing for the new business, which will take up 25,000 square feet -- 53 percent -- of the light industrial-flex space buildingt.

Business owner Bonnie O'Meara told the council she has signed a 10-year lease with owner Northwood Equity LLC -- a subsidiary of Bloomington-based Paramount Real Estate Corp. -- to establish a "full-sized indoor commercial playground" with a gym, an open field with artificial turf and other kids' attractions in vacant space occupied until 2011 by the American Red Cross.

She said interior demolition and construction is set to begin this month with an April 2013 grand opening planned.

The indoor park is aimed at families with children ages 2-12 and meant to encourage wellness through play and physical activity.

The building is listed for sale by Paramount for $2.95 million, or $63.87 per square foot. The firm is touting its sleek brick exterior design -- which won a local industry award in 2002 -- its extensive landscaping and ponding and its close proximity to Interstate 35E.
