HUNDREDS OF NEW UNITS ON THE WAY

A sampling of Twin Cities-area apartments on the drawing board and in the ground:

Bloomington: StuartCo will soon start building more than 200 units in a $50 million project called Genesee.

Minneapolis Riverfront: Two developers, Bloomington-based Doran Cos. and Plymouth-based Dominium, have proposed building nearly 600 apartments at the Pillsbury A Mill site across the Mississippi River from downtown Minneapolis.

Uptown area in Minneapolis: Flux is a 216-unit, $39 million apartment building under construction at 2838 Fremont Av. S. Developer is Greco Real Estate Development.

North Loop neighborhood in Minneapolis: Greco is also developing a total of about 240 units in two warehouses along Washington Avenue, the Holden building and the Precision building.

University of Minnesota area: Opus Development Corp. just broke ground on Stadium Village Flats, a six-story, 120-unit complex aimed at students.
