Here is the final round of pictures/commentary from our friends Jody and Melissa, who took in three days of action in Vancouver during this year's Olympics. They're off to Seattle (where they used to live) for a few days, then back to the good old MPLS after that. Hope you enjoy their final offerings:

Here are the Day 3 highlights. We made it back to "the States" at about 1:30 am last night. I have to say, the transportation getting in/out/around the city was simply phenomenal. You can tell a lot of effort went into the planning for hundreds of thousands of visitors, and it turned out to be quite easy to get around the city. Not to mention Vancouver has a ton of really cool bridges.

The highlight of our day was scalped tickets to the USA/Norway Men's hockey game. We found Suite-level tickets for $90 each... the other people in our suite paid on average $125 per ticket, so we felt pretty lucky. Chalk another one up to my sunny disposition! see photos attached, including my sweet "U-S-AND-EH" ) t-shirt (combine your best Borat voice with the Canadian "eh").

check out the suite... Luxuries!

RandBall makes an appearance!

literally everything had maple leafs on it during the Games, including the chewing gum.

Some Slovakia/Russia hot hockey action. It turned out to be an incredible game with Slovakia beating Russia in a tense shoot-out. This is a sweet photo... that's Ovechkin squeezing a shot past Halak in the shootout... the only one Russia scored! You can see the puck shooting through the crease.
