Rep. Michele Bachmann has been getting tons of ink and airplay in the wake of her jump-starting today's rally at the U.S. Capitol. That extended today to the top of the New York Times' home page, which all afternoon featured a big picture of Bachmann addressing thousands of like-minded opponents of Democratic health care overhaul plans.
That might not impress Bachmann and her fellow conservatives, for whom the Gray Lady epitomizes the Eastern liberal elite cabal. But it comes less than a month after the Times front-paged her in a profile headlined "A GOP Agitator Not Named Palin."
