JUPITER, FLA. -- Pedro Florimon hit a double to the warning track in center field on Friday, driving in two runs and helping the Twins overcome an early deficit to win their fifth straight Grapefruit League game, 8-7 over the Miami Marlins.

Vance Worley allowed four runs, three of them earned, in two innings, though four of the six hits he allowed were soft line drives. Josh Roenicke followed Worley by giving up a run on three hits in his inning, but the Twins' bullpen shut out the Marlins on just one hit over five innings, until the Marlins struck back with a two-run ninth.

The victory marked the fourth straight game the Twins have scored at least seven runs, and seven different players drove in runs against Miami. Jamey Carroll singled twice off Miami starter Henderson Alvarez, driving in a run in the second inning that tied the game.

Minnesota trailed 5-3 in the sixth inning when the bottom of the lineup produced the comeback that carried the Twins to victory. With two runners on, Drew Butera lined a single to center, his second hit of the day, and Florimon drove in the go-ahead runs with a long double over center fielder Juan Pierre's head.

The Twins added two more runs in the eighth, on RBIs by Mark Sobolewski and Chris Colabello, and they needed them. Marlins third baseman smashed a two-run home run off Luis Perdomo in the ninth, but Perdomo retired the side to preserve the win.
