Delmon Young is back in the lineup today after not starting the past two games. He got a single in the 10th inning on Wednesday and eventually scored the winning run.
Twins manager Ron Gardenhire said the key was to give Young a break after being a strikeout machine after being activated from the disabled list. But he said Young was fired up about not playing yesterday, which the manager took as a good sign.
``He was pretty fired up after scoring that run," Gardenhire added.

The Twins met earlier today to go over details about tomorrow's funeral for Hall of Famer Harmon Killebrew. Gardenhire expected most players to be on hand for the service.

Glen Perkins is not available out of the bullpen after pitching in each of the last two games. And Gardy wasn't sure of Joe Nathan's availability. They know that Nathan will have to pitch in back-to-back games eventually this season but they want to check with him and make sure he's not too sore.
