Can't stop the feeling

Jonathan Demme, the director who brilliantly captured Talking Heads and Neil Young on film, sets his sights on a different generation in "Justin Timberlake and the Tennessee Kids," a documentary that recounts the action at a 2015 Las Vegas concert. Demme's participation proves that the former 'N Sync star may be building a Hall of Fame-worthy career.

Magic man

Andrew Dice Clay, Chuck Liddell, Paris Jackson and Gary Oldman are among the odd assortment of celebrities prepared to be dazzled in "Criss Angel: Trick'd Up," a new special featuring the master illusionist. Angel's delivery can get a bit grating — a little too cool for school — but there's no denying he's at the top of his craft, especially when he brings tattoos to life and suggests he's able to rip a body in half.

Bird brains

Patricia Clarkson, whose quiet force on "Six Feet Under" earned her two Emmys, narrates "Super Hummingbirds," a new documentary that launches the 35th season of "Nature." The film gives viewers insight into how the tiny creatures manage to drink a flower's nectar so quickly and thrive at high altitudes without making pit stops at an oxygen bar.

7 p.m., TPT, Ch. 2
